Mr. Thera is a Program Officer at the Centre for Security Sector Governance. Previously, he served as the National Coordinator of the West-Africa Network for Peacebuilding in Mali (WANEP-Mali) until 2019. Mr. Thera is also a doctoral candidate in Public Law at the University of Cheikh Anta Diop (Dakar, Senegal) and the University of Legal and Political Sciences of Bamako (Mali), where he is writing his thesis on "Security and the rule of law in the Sahel: the case of the Republic of Mali". He also holds a DEA in Public Law from the Institute of Political Science, International Relations and Communications of Bamako (ISPRIC) and a Master's degree in Business Law from the University of Legal and Political Sciences of Bamako.
