The Tubiyage Association (Tubiyage means 'let’s talk about it') was established in 2001. It works to sensitise and educate Burundians on forgiveness, reconciliation, human rights, democracy and good governance. Tubiyage promotes peacebuilding and conflict resolution through theatre as a means of communication and dialogue.

Tubiyage Association shows are based on the daily challenges of local communities, and seek to raise awareness of social, economic and political challenges affecting them. They seek to demonstrate that local and community solutions are better than external or imposed ones. The association comprises actors from diverse theatrical groups performing in Bujumbura.
