Hasan is a member of the International Peace Observatory (IPO), a human rights organisation working in Colombia.[[]]An advocate of international solidarity he has worked in London and Washington on projects for the advancement of human rights and social justice in Latin America.[[]]He graduated from King’s College London with a BA in War Studies.
