Agoro Community Development (ACD) is a community-based initiative in a war-torn rural community in Northern Uganda, located in Kitgum district on the border with Sudan. It is a local, grassroots response to the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) conflict. ACD seeks to restore peace, security, livelihoods and opportunities to those affected by the conflict, in order to help them rebuild their community, improve the community's sustainability, and help all members of society. Activities include a Global Letter Exchange, 'Computers for Refugees', RESPECT University, 'Develop Agoro's Livestock and Buildings', and 'Fighting AIDS'.
