Apollo is an initiative of a group of young enthusiasts who wish to contribute to the promotion of local cultures. Managed and managed by young people, it organizes events and offers space for interactive programs throughout Tunisia.
Apollo's mission is to promote peace and security in Tunisian neighbourhoods, with all citizens treated with respect and dignity. It aims to develop the leadership potential of young people, enabling individual and collective action to help fight violence, discrimination and poverty. The objectives of the organization are as follows:
- Promote culture and art in the region.
- Encourage and promote the artistic talents of young people.
- Raise awareness of the spirit of community work and volunteerism.
- Defend the freedom to practice art in all its forms.
Main projects / activities
Ksar Hellal Art Festival
The association is working together to ensure the success of one of Tunisia's largest street art festivals, in Ksar Hilal. Apollo favours interactive culture and the arts and artists engaged in the defence of human rights and freedom of expression, creativity and democracy in Tunisia.
The festival now takes place four times a year, thanks to the efforts of a group of committed and passionate volunteers who have succeeded in making this festival a major event in the city. Open to the public, it is based on partnerships with other youth networks supporting social development through culture and art.
Public activities
Apollo organizes interactive workshops in public spaces, involving volunteers and other artists and highlighting the social, cultural and economic problems of Tunisian society.
