Barendra Unnayan Prochesta’s mission is to provide support to development partners including the rural and urban poor, women, children and underprivileged communities in order to strengthen their organisational capacity and make themselves aware of their rights to decide over their own fate and fortune in economic and social terms.

The Executive Director is an activist and facilitator experienced in mobilising local communities to raise their voices against discriminatory incidents. The organisation has been involved in a number of campaigns, including the STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST VIOLENCE, WE CAN (campaign against domestic violence) and the GROW campaign (facilitated by OXFAM).

This organisation is currently supporting research and work to mobilise businessman and associations in the Rajshahi area.
