Carefronting Nigeria is based in Kaduna. The organisation brings together individuals from many different Nigerian organisations with the goal of building a peaceful Nigeria free from all forms of violence, discrimination and abuse, and to promote the full participation of young people and women in all sectors of national development.

Among the activities of Carefronting are organising peace education training for young people to show them alternatives to violence when resolving conflict. The organisation has also worked with religious leaders to help them to combat and overcome community tensions. They have also created trauma awareness and healing workshops. 

Carefronting also works on Preventing and Transforming Violent Extremism (PTVE) and developed a number of training manuals in the area.

Carefronting regularly works with other Nigerian peacebuilding organisations.
