Last updated: December 2017

The Center for Conflict Management (CCM) is a body of the University of Rwanda. It addresses the perceived knowledge gap in the fields of genocide, peace and conflict studies, and post-conflict reconstruction and reconciliation, through conducting research and teaching as well as community services in the form of policy research.

CCM has published many books, articles, and reports. The centre also runs a number of academic courses in the field, including an MA in Peace Studies and Conflict Transformation; an MA in Security Studies; and various short courses.

CCM has carried out work with local communities, such as the “Community Dialogue for Peace” programme, and annual celebrations of the International Day of Peace in partnership with schools and higher learning institutions.
