CREPEE has positioned itself as one of the most effective women's leadership platforms for young women in education in Central African Republic.

Last updated: July 2021

Created in 2009, CREPEE was born out of the realization that young women do not have enough space to express themselves or develop their leadership. The association sector being largely dominated by young men, a group of students decided to create a space, initially informal, to allow female students to play a role in decision-making related to student life.

The success of the association since its creation attracted the attention of young students who thus asked to join the movement.

Since its inception, CREPEE has positioned itself as one of the most effective women's leadership platforms for young women in education.

It conducts numerous activities outside of educational spaces with its outreach programs and the establishment of a network of young women peer educators who mentor out-of-school girls.

The organization also assists young women in developing income-generating activities to enable them to return to school.

To date, the organization has already reached 24,000 young women across the country.
