Mission & Vision
Civil Society Development Centre (CSDC) was founded in 2010. The organisation’s mission is to support young people in Georgia and provide educational programmes for vulnerable groups such as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), victims of violence, young people, and other marginalized groups.
CSDC’s aim is also to defend women’s rights and to increase public awareness of women's rights and gender equality. The organisation encourages women and girls to increase their civic participation through advocacy campaigns and by spreading information about their rights.
History
CSDC was founded by young professionals and students. The founders of the organisation and its staff have successfully implemented best practices of the non-governmental sector in their project implementation, development, and management. CSDC has been a member of international organisations including Telecentre and the “Eurasian Network” since 2010.
