FEDA believes that education is an important tool for transformation.
Examples of the organisation's peacebuilding activities include:
- 200 young people, women, local leaders, civil society organisations and representatives of communities were trained for peace as 'peace catalysts'.
- Thousands of community members organised into youth peacebuilding networks
- 100 participants have been trained in the areas of leadership, positive conflict management, non-violence communication, negotiation and mediation.
In addition to peacebuilding the organisation aims to promote gender equality and increase opportunities for girls through education.
