The vision of the Kamukunji Community Based Organizations Network (KCBO Net) is to create a united and empowered Kamukunji community, where people are informed and can articulate issues in a harmonious and peaceful environment. The organisation serves as a tool for the marginalised and poor of Kamukunji to raise their voice.

Founded in 2004, KCBO net has sought to establish a community platform where people share and strengthen ideas for sustainable development in Kamukunji. As an advocate and catalyst of change in the community, it aims to unite the residents of Kamukunji and to be a platform where the under-privileged acquire the knowledge, skills and resources necessary to build self-sufficient and prosperous lives.
