PARTNER is committed to organising the most neglected, poverty-stricken, exploited, and deprived communities of northern Bangladesh in order to establish human rights, democracy, and poverty reduction. PARTNER implements programme activities based on the following themes:

One of the organisation's core areas is the protection of human rights, the promotion of peace and tolerance, and strengthening of democracy. In order to achieve this goal, PARTNER implements educational training, awareness, advocacy, and social mobilisation campaigns. Through this it aims to connect a diverse community to provide publicity, create general awareness and inspire action on issues facing communities in the northern district of Bangladesh.
Additionally PARTNER promotes ways and means to safeguard the social, cultural, economical and political participation and rights of women and other marginalised groups. PARTNER has given emphasis to equality between men and women and gender sensitivity in its all activities.
Since being established PARTNER has produced a number of policy documents in Bangladesh on a range of issues including gender, health, and micro-credit.
