Last updated: August 2015

Pilgrim Africa's mission and vision is to restore hope, dignity and love to those in need and devastated by war, poverty and disaster. Pilgrim provides spiritual, material, social and economic support to needy sectors of society in Uganda, driven by a Christian ethos. At the heart of their peacebuilding is Pilgrim's belief that meeting one aspect of human needs – social, economic, physical and spiritual - without the other does not improve the condition of humanity.

Pilgrim Africa's work involves many development projects, and work to support former child soldiers, as the below video shows. It also runs a trauma treatment programme for victims of the conflict in Uganda.
