Last updated: November 2021

UGOOD promotes peace and harmony by working together for the betterment of human beings at all levels. UGOOD believes that Peace and security is an essential factor of human life. UGOOD is providing peaceful and secure environment to empower women and engaging youth as volunteers for peacebuilding in Pakistan.

While promoting peace and harmony, UGOOD has taken various initiatives to develop cooperation and linkage between social sectors and community organizations in the undeveloped and neglected areas of Pakistan so that the organizations belonging to these areas may be given a voice to raise the particular issues of their specific areas and dealing with dispute and resolving conflicts fairly and properly. By optimizing resources and sharing vital information, UGOOD provides a means for CSOs/NGOs and networks to become more effective in completing their vital tasks.

A peaceful and secure environment is critical to every society since it affects all aspects of economic and social development in a country, and is a necessary sin-qua non to the realization of human rights. Poverty, illiteracy, lack of proper healthcare facilities, gender discrimination, conflict & unemployment are the main hindrance to economic empowerment and are causing social instability in Pakistan. Realizing this fact, UGOOD was formed by a group of socially responsible young and intellectual individuals, who wanted to bring a positive change in the lives of the 42 Million Population of Pakistan who is living below the poverty line. UGOOD is a national organization having head office in Islamabad and representative offices in all major parts of the country.
