Visible Unity works to help diverse individuals and groups in the USA engage one another.

Vision: To see more people united in their humanity regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or socio-economic status; affording grace, dignity and reconciliation to all.
Mission: Visible Unity, Inc. exists to promote, advocate for and develop more unified, diverse and reconciled communities.
Purpose: Visible Unity helps diverse individuals and groups engage one another, become reconciled and exhibit a “visible unity” in their communities. This is accomplished through experiences; internal formation and spiritual work; relationship building in diverse groups; and reconciling one to another to bring about healing and peace. Visible Unity promotes inclusion and equity among individuals and groups of all faiths, beliefs and demographic dividers, as well as provides a positive and supportive social environment for people to learn, grow, be, and do.
Visible Unity has two programs to address these issues. The Unity Process (UP) stands out from other programs that are conversation based in that it is more than just conversations but a process that includes conversation as well as skill development and experiential learning activities. The UP also stands out from social justice programs in that it seeks a heart level change that will lead to more people engaging in social justice activities but also having conversations with family and friends and others they encounter in order to continue the work of educating and transforming others. The UP is a nine-session engagement experience that brings together a diverse group of individuals to exchange and grow through formation, discussion and experience.
We combine the UP with Visible Communities (VC) which offers UP participants as well as the general public opportunities to engage with others from different backgrounds. VC are comprised of events created by our organization and events our organization partners in or merely participates in.
We also, provide avenues and opportunities for further engagement through VC. Based upon participant requests, we provide resources of activism groups the UP participants can connect with and assist in their efforts. We also have periodic events such as, arts and discussion, peace events, and question and answer events for not only UP participants but also the general community to come and interact with people who are from other cultural groups. Besides our own events, we collaborate and partner with other social justice organizations to offer even more opportunities for our constituents to engage with other cultures.
We are a fairly new organization (2016) and have been busy laying the foundation. Next year we will begin a concerted push to grow the organization. Any assistance with that will be greatly appreciated.
