Charity Humanitarian Centre "Abkhazeti" (CHCA), established in 1995, is a Georgian, non-Governmental, non-profit organization that aims to improve the livelihoods of conflict-affected and other socially vulnerable persons and enhance their social and economic integration.

CHCA's Target Groups

  • Internally displaced persons (IDPs)
  • Persons living in the conflict zones
  • Socially vulnerable families
  • Former migrants
  • Children and youth
  • Persons in conflict with the law

CHCA Implements Projects in the following Areas:

  • Livelihoods and Economic Development
  • Community Development and Advocacy
  • Children and Youth Protection and Development
  • Peace and Confidence Building 

 CHCA Directly Targets 5,000 Beneficiaries per Year.

  • From Dependency to Self-Sufficiency: Innovative and Effective Livelihoods Solution for Georgia
  • Supporting Business Initiatives of Former Prisoners
  • Social Enterprises for IDPs in Georgia
  • Enhancing Livelihood Opportunities for Eco-Migrants in Georgia

CHCA carries out Community Development and Advocacy:

  • The way forward for reforms in the housing sector: empowering grassroot homeowners associations
  • From Dependency to Self-Sufficiency: Innovative and Effective Livelihoods Solution for Georgia
  • Towards a Fairer Society
  • Enhancing the Participation of Regional CSOs in Policy Dialogue on Social Inclusion in Georgia

CHCA works for Children and Youth Protection and Development:

  • Small Group Home
  • Enabling Georgia’s Most Vulnerable Youth to Become Productive

CHCA carries out Peace and Confidence Building:

  • Provision of Urgent Medical Assistance to Extremely Vulnerable People Living in the Occupied Territories of Georgia
