Enfance et Paix (Children and Peace) is a Senegalese NGO founded in 1992, which started operations in Sédhiou in 1996. It aims to develop an environment favourable to justice and equity in integrated, sustainable development. Its mission and vision statement is available to read here.

Enfance et Paix is committed to contributing to the wellbeing of marginalised populations, through its work supporting children, education, community and nutritional health, food security, cross-border dialogue and rural entrepreneurship. The organisation works in formal and non-formal education in conflict-affected zones in Casamance.

In community health issues, it supports the Ministry of Health in establishing and supporting the role of community health workers, to make access to primary healthcare and health information easier. These community workers also work in the prevention and management of conflict.

Enfance et Paix is also active in agriculture, supporting poor households to access seeds and allowing young people to create rural business by providing them with agricultural equipment.

Enfance et paix is specially active in supporting child and woman rights. It is presently working in partnership with Save the Children. Enfance et Paix also supports women in promoting revenue-generating activities.
