The Peace Initiative and Research Centre (PIRC) organises seminars and workshops on conflict issues for grassroots participants as well as district and national authorities. PIRC promotes conflict prevention and resolution, human rights education and advocacy, and peacebuilding at every level of society. Its activities include exchanges with individuals and organisations working for the promotion of peace in Uganda and offering a post-graduate diploma in peace education.
