People's Voice for Peace (PVP) has been a sustained voice for peace in northern Uganda. Its activities include building  networks of grassroots women for Peace, Justice and Reconciliation.  The purpose is to give voice to the concerns  and priorities of women during the current post conflicts situations, continue facilitating community reintegration of formerly abducted children in northern Uganda, and consolidating the current relative peace through collaborative initiatives  with women's peace building organisations from the Northern Uganda, Institute for Peace and Strategic Studies of Gulu university and University of Oklahoma (USA) Centre for Peace and Development.  PVP achieves its aims through training, collaborative initiatives, lobbying, meetings, field visits, peace marches and community mobilisation.
