YouthAlert! (YA!) works to reduce accounts of youth violence through volunteerism, education and teamwork. Its goal is to improve the health of children and youth. 

YA! launched a Violence & Bullying Prevention/Health Program (VBPHP), a universal, cross-cutting youth violence, bullying, and abuse, educational and training prevention program. This program develops a systematic approach by age, placement, compatibility, and delivery to effectively reducing violence. VBPHP is a community outreach program which represents the voice of the entire community. It is driven by the belief that informed people make good decisions.  The program is continuous and interactive both using current technology for out-of-school learning and lesson plans for in-school learning.
