Action Solidaire pour la Paix (ASP)

Established in 2008, ASP is a Congolese rights organization dedicated to peace and non-violent conflict transformation in the territories of Masisi and Walikale.

Action Solidaire pour la Paix (ASP) was established in 2008, and is a Congolese rights organization dedicated to peace and non-violent conflict transformation. Its scope of action is the province of North Kivu with a priority in the territories of Masisi and Walikale. Its field of intervention is the province of North Kivu. It intervenes in conflict transformation through the "Participatory Action Research" approach coupled with context/conflict analyses. It carries out alternative management of land conflicts in its area of intervention.

In all its interventions, ASP involves community leaders, women, young people, farmers, stockbreeders and political and administrative authorities. ASP organizes intra- and inter-community dialogues to contribute to the restoration of peace in its area of intervention. ASP also carries out advocacy and capacity building actions for local structures to ensure the sustainability of its interventions in peace building.
