The Association for Humanitarian Development (AHD) was founded in 2001 to work for peace, justice, harmony and equality through the participation of disadvantaged groups in Pakistan. AHD has been working with marginalized communities in order to address the basic needs of the poor. The organisation has also been active in promoting peace in rural and poor areas of Pakistan.

Since 2004, to till a date some 520 groups male/female organized in remote areas for peace and development as well as to come of conflicts in within community level. AHD also participated in rehabilitation and relief work during the super floods 2010, 2011 and 2012. They supported more than 33,000 families with food, medicine, shelter, health and livelihood security.

AHD stands to bring peace, reach to remote areas and help poor rural communities to solve their conflicts through their own capacity.
