Benindanga Club is a socio-cultural organisation created in 1999 by women from diverse backgrounds and ethnic groups of Ruyigi to promote reconciliation and good relationships. It works to bring people together through cultural activities including theatres, songs, dances and festivals.

The Club works in partnership with local and international organisations when performing shows for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and refugee returnees to encourage forgiveness, solidarity and reconciliation. During holidays, the club ensures entertainment and training in traditional music and cooking techniques for secondary school pupils.

Modest contributions from memberships have enabled the building of a conference room where the organisation hosts its activities and events and where it can meet with other NGOs and CSOs in Ruyigi. They have already received support from the President of Republic and PADCO (Planning and Development Collaborative).
