The Commission Autochtone de Lutte contre la LRA (Commission of Indigenous People for the Fight against the Lord's Resistance Army, CALL) was founded in May 2015 in Obo. It aims to :

  • Promote information and communication on the LRA.
  • Develop humanitarian assistance for victims and survivors.
  • Support community development initiatives.
CALL seeks to raise awareness among local communities on peacebuilding, forgiveness, and social cohesion issues. It also urges members of the LRA to lay down arms. CALL has so far created 3 Community Defection Committees, 2 Peace Committees, and 3 Local Protection Committees. Including its work before official creation, CALL has directly or indirectly reached around 50,000 beneficiaries.

Its partners are:

  • Locally: Community Radio ZEREDA
  • Nationally: NGO JUPEDEC
  • Internationally: INGO Invisible Children
