CEF holds regular Global Village Square meetings on the border between Israel and Palestine
Last updated: February 2012

The Middle East Programme of the Centre for Emerging Futures (CEF) is dedicated to building grassroot partnerships between Palestinians & Israelis living in the area.

CEF holds regular Global Village Square meetings on the border between Israel and Palestine during which individuals from both sides, as well as internationals, utilise deep listening techniques to discover the shared humanity between them.

CEF has identified two issues on which to focus its efforts at this point – the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis, and the abuse and substance use issues for women and children, both in Idaho and the Middle East. CEF has regular activities in Israel and Palestine as part of its Middle East Programme. It also supports projects at some Idaho-based programmes for women and children through the Eric Jones Fund.
