The Foundation for Integrated Development Action (FIDA) was established in 2004 and works primarily in Dera Ismail Khan and the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan with a long-term aim of social change in the region.

FIDA believes in a multi-sector, community- driven approach to development. Rather than dealing with single issues in isolation, FIDA formulates comprehensive strategies that help communities prioritize, advocate and address their problems holistically.

FIDA is currently working to address the infrastructural and livelihood needs of displaced families from North Waziristan Agency that are currently residing in Dera Ismail Khan. The project also focuses on building small infrastructure schemes to address the immediate needs of returning families to Orakzai Agency in FATA.
