The For Yemen Foundation for Development is an organisation working for social development and peace within Yemeni society. It was established in 2012 to raise awareness of the importance of peace in society, and it became a civil society institution in 2013.
The Foundation implements sessions to discuss and raise awareness of the importance of social peace and the reduction of conflict. It works to strengthen a culture of dialogue in the Amran governorate, with participants coming from all segments of society.
The Foundation was also a partner in panel discussions taking place in the Sana'a Directorate about peaceful coexistence and community participation. This involved 1200 participants from opinion leaders and social figures.
The Foundation implemented a discussion and awareness-raising session in partnership with the Canadian Fund to support social initiatives in Sana'a Governorate which work for social peace and strengthen the transition process. This involved 420 male and female participants.
