Free People Employment Centre is non-profit organisation working to build peace through helping those who lost their jobs due to military conflict, political repressions and a difficult economic situation. The organisation provides help to people who would like to return to peaceful life by getting a new job, as well as facilitating social integration for them in the local community. It is open to ex-military members to help them gain employment and a sustainable income. It contributes to security in post-conflict environments to start recovery and development.

The mission of the Free People Employment Centre is to help those who lost their jobs due to participation in protest meetings, as well as IDPs from Donbass and Crimea. It has a network of partners and representatives in many cities in Eastern Ukraine.

Activities

• Inviting volunteers to provide individual consultations, help with guidance counselling, give CV advice and find vacancies for candidates.
• Encourage employers to share available vacancies with the Free People Employment Centre.
• Encourage the affected population to register and seek job opportunities. New project for people with disabilities has recently was launched seeking to find work opportunities for them.
• NGO's database contains 20,000 people who seek employment and 200 employers
• Provide the affected population with professional education.
• In June 2015, Free People Employment Centre, supported by the UNHCR, launched a 'Professional Volunteer School' in Kyiv.
• In August 2015, Free People Employment Centre, along with other Ukrainian businesses and legal organisations initiated the first business incubator for IDPs, 'Free people' who can develop business projects under guidance from business mentors and trainers. Successful projects have a chance to go to Germany for an exchange program. As of November 2016, 120 projects were developed in business incubators in Kyiv and Mariupol. 
• Free training and development programs are run for IDPs in Kyiv, Kharkiv and other cities to help people to improve their professional skills and workmanship, to give these people the opportunity to try a new profession and adapt to a new labour environment. Training sessions on business, the art of selling and others are run on weekends. At the end of the course participants receive a certificate.
• The development program on marketing, time management etc. is a one-time series of master-classes, trainings and workshops. The aim of these is to help internally displaced persons to develop their professional skills. The duration of one class is 5-6 hours.
• Within 1 year, the Free People Employment Centre conducted trainings for approximately 3,500 persons, and 4,000 candidates found jobs with the organisations' help. Since the establishment of NGO, 6,000 people were trained to strengthen or develop professional skills
