HUMAN-NEST is working for sustainable development and peacebuilding in Pakistan. The organisation was established in August 1994 with a mission "To build a justice based and peaceful civil society where every individual has access to basic human needs and equal opportunities to explore and deliver”.

HUMAN-NEST has implemented several projects to promote peace in Pakistan. The oorganisation promotes awareness raising and capacity building of local elders about modern techniques of Alternative Dispute Resolution. At the village level, local elders and young people are encouraged to identify and solve conflicts through participatory approachs.

Since 2011, The HUMAN-NEST has organized 14 training workshops for young people, local elders and police department to resolve small disputes with restorative justice techniques. In 2013, the organisation initiated peacebuilding activities in Schools.
