The Nebraska Mediation Center trains facilitators to serve as neutral third parities who foster communication and problem solving within groups.
Last updated: January 2018

The Nebraska Mediation Center is a private, nonprofit organization serving 24 counties in northeast and north central Nebraska and four tribal nations. It is one of six mediation centers in Nebraska approved by the Nebraska Office of Dispute Resolution.

The Nebraska Mediation Center's trained facilitators serve as neutral third parities who foster communication and problem solving within groups. A Mediator can be expected to facilitate communication, promote understanding and focus the parties on their goals and interests. The mediation process adds an element of “creative problem solving” to enable the parties to determine the results.
