Our Heritage is an Israeli organisation which promotes the principle of equal rights for all Israeli citizens and, specifically, to equality of opportunities for all ethnical and cultural groups of the Israeli society. It combats discrimination, racialism, alienation towards the Israeli Arabs, Bedouins, Druzes as well as towards new immigrants from the former USSR and Ethiopia. The organisation supports the peace process and the just settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict based on the principle of “Two states for two nations”.

The organisation conducts public and cultural meetings between new immigrants and the Israeli Arabs speaking Russian. For more than a year “Our Heritage” has been engaged in organising series of lectures on the subject “Democracy, Peace and Security”. The lecturers are mostly retired IDF officers, members of the Council for Peace and Security.

Our Heritage runs a website with the aim of explaining to the Russian-speaking public the importance of peaceful settlement of the conflict between Israel and Arab world. The organisation also runs conferences for the wider Israeli public on the issues such as peace, democratic citizenship, multiculturalism.
