Ravvish helps people from across the world meet with government & children in Pakistan, in order to promote tolerance, critical thinking & empathy.

Ravvish works to resolve conflict in Pakistan through global engagement, the development of regional histories and cultural narratives, youth empowerment and basic career advice.

Ravvish provides a platform for cultural ambassadors and teachers from across the world to conduct sessions over Skype or in person with government and private school children in Pakistan, fulfilling the broader aim of promoting tolerance, critical thinking and empathy. Sessions are also designed to provide career advice and computer literacy.

Ravvish conducted its pilot projects in Karachi and Gilgit Baltistan in summer of 2014 and was formally registered in 2015. Currently, the Aghaz e Ravvish project in Lahore engages with more than 120 students from low cost private schools in Nishat colony. This project is funded by the Pakistan US Alumni Network.

In 2014, the organisation engaged over 300 students from Hyderabad, Karachi and Gligit Baltistan region. Surveys were developed to measure the tolerance and global awareness levels of students and the results up till now have been promising.

The organisation currently works in partnership with the Social Innovation Lab at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and Pakistan US Alumni Network. Previously the group has had support from Coco Cola, Nokia and Ghulaman e Abbas school in Lyari.
