The Ugandan Joint Christian Council (UJCC) is an ecumenical organisation established in 1963 to provide a platform for its members to work towards greater mutual understanding and unity of purpose. UJCC provides a forum to articulate and address issues of common concern including peace building, health, education, social and economic justice.

UJCC focuses on peace and consensus building, conflict transformation, mediation and negotiation, democracy and good governance, economic, gender and social rights, health and education, capacity building for other civil society organisations, and advocacy and communication.

UJCC is among the five civil society organisations to be accredited by the Nationwide Civic Education Programme, and through its Ecumenical Joint Action Committees (EJACs) has delivered civic education in 151 sub Counties in 15 districts; the organisation trained a total of 40 women and youth in sustainable agriculture and organic farming methods.

UJCC formed a National Task Force on Northern Uganda in an effort to focus and contribute to the end of the conflict; it has also made a contribution to the campaign against the proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW).
