It is also a call to action: a new norm is needed, one that utilises effective funding mechanisms for local actors.
Violent conflict is at a 30-year high, and current funding is largely directed at reacting to, rather than preventing, conflict. We’re proposing giving local organisations radically flexible tools which will enable local actors to better generate, implement, and scale their own solutions.
