Hanna Qadir

Hanna Qadir is a seasoned strategy, change and conflict resolution professional with over 15 years of progressively complex, top-tier experience in strategy development for government, not-for-profit and corporate organisations. An Excellence Fellow at Columbia University where she also holds an MSc degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution (Distinction), she remains inspired by creative conflict resolution practices and the combined power of science and art forms to bring long-lasting change. Her research focuses on encouraging bottom-up and grass roots involvement in civil and international conflicts with a focus on regions including: Sudan, Guatemala and Western Sahara. Hanna remains interested in the power of community collaboration when assessing complex conflict problems, identifying core issues and creating innovative local-led solutions. She also focuses on harnessing the healing power of art as a communication and storytelling tool in conflict situations.
