The Tente d'Abraham (Abraham's Tent) is an interfaith centre founded in 2006, by missionaries working to support Islamic-Christian dialogue.  It is composed of a large library with cultural, reference and academic works for students and school pupils in Arabic, French and English. It has a large learning space and two smaller rooms for young people to meet in, as well as a lecture theatre and offices.

The centre also houses offices for the local Diocese and the National Interfaith Dialogue organisation. Its overall objective is to lead dialogue activities through lectures, conference-debates, teambuilding and other group activities in order to eliminate religious prejudice. It has significant experience in organising, in particular:

  • Support for students at primary and secondary schools.
  • Literacy classes.
  • Summer schools.
  • Film screenings and debates on peace work.
  • Arabic, French and English language classes.

At the weekends, the centre organises events and cultural activities for young people from different religions.
