The Centre Œcuménique des Droits Humains (Ecumenical Centre for Human Rights, CEDH) works on human rights issues in Haiti. It was originally founded in Santo Domingo by Haitian exile Dr Jean-Claude Bajeuxin in order to support Haitian refugees, and later registered in Puerto Rico.

In 1980, an initiative launched by the CEDH worked on the case of the Haitian refugees in Fort Allen.

After the fall of the Duvalier dictatorship, Bajeux was one of the first political exiles to return, establishing the CEDH in Port-au-Prince.

Today, the CEDH works on a variety of projects including on legal aid, prisoner support and support to victims of the military dictatorship. It also runs civic education programmes and conducts lobbying and advocacy around reform of state institutions.

The Centre is a member of the International Federation of Human Rights.
