The Women's International Study Center (WISC) examines the circumstances and issues affecting the experiences and status of women and offers its audiences new knowledge, positive takeaways, and action items they can use to change their lives for the better.
Artists, writers, scholars, professionals, innovators and entrepreneurs, as individuals and in groups, are awarded fellowships in two residences on the Acequia Madre House estate from which WISC operates. Proposals by women are accepted, as are those of anyone working in these focus areas as they relate directly to the interests and experiences of women.
