RENLUV is a network of organisations that promotes awareness-raising, training, information, advocacy, prevention, protection and monitoring of gender-based violence and child-based violence, as well as care, referral and follow-up of cases.
It is emerged as a group of nine Guinean NGOs focused on human rights named 'Fight Against Violence Dynamics' in 2004. A year later a General Assembly transformed this group into a network. The RENLUV network today is composed of forty-six member organisations.
RENLUV has focal points in all regions of the country and has promoted forty vigilance committees in the regions of Bafata and Cacheu in order to increase the participation of women in decision-making processes as well as in conflict management and mediation.
