ARBI is a Non-Governmental Organisation created in Goma by motivated humanitarians passionate about healing, conflict transformation, peace building and integral development of communities affected by identity-based conflicts (ethnic, socio-political, ideo-religious, cultural and racial...). The organisation was founded since 2011 in response to the successive wars linked to the conflictual challenges in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo. ARBI is registered in the DRC under the legal registration number JUST. &DH/SG/20/280/2017 - F92/28.118.

ARBI equips members of target communities to become active citizens who can define and take charge of their integral development. ARBI is an NGO dedicated to positive conflict transformation to break the cycle of ethnic violence and leave a new legacy for the next generation.

Vision: To see healed, reconciled and prosperous communities living together in peace in the DRC and other violence-affected regions of Africa.

Mission: To rebuild bridges within and between affected communities through integral community-based approaches that promote inclusive cooperation, capacity building of participants for sustainable healing, peace building, development and responsible and servant leadership.
