Based in DR Congo, Africa Sans Haine is a media organisation specialized in the fight against online hate speech.
Africa Sans Haine is the first African media specialized in the fight against online hate speech. We are based in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is a project created in October 2020 and aims for peaceful coexistence between African ethnic groups plagued by divisions, hatred and identity conflicts. Ethnic hatred is a real scourge in Africa and is widely conveyed on social networks.
Our target audience is DRC and all Africa, especially French Speaking Africa.
Sometimes hate messages lead to intercommunal clashes and deaths. We regularly publish reports on the hate speech that our team observes on social media, particularly on Facebook. We have no funding. We work with the means at hand.
Apart from hate and cyber hate, we also fight racism, xenophobia. We also shine our spotlight on personalities or organizations whose initiatives aim at peaceful coexistence between communities.
Africa Sans Haine is member of Intenational Network Against Cyber Hate (INACH)
