Since 2009, APED has worked to seek rapid and sustainable solutions to the various problems affecting vulnerable populations in DR Congo.

Aides aux Personnes Démunies (APED) is a non-governmental, humanitarian, apolitical and non-confessional organization working in east DR Congo.

Since 2009, APED as worked to seek rapid and sustainable solutions to the various problems affecting vulnerable populations in DR Congo.

APED ensures the involvement of community members in this process, in order to take positive action against the risks that threaten the well-being of children and other vulnerable people.

It is also a development organization whose programs are oriented in the fields of protection and education; water, sanitation, and hygiene; health/nutrition; and food security/environment.

Our vision: We dream of a better future full of hope for the poor population and the integral development of their environment

Our mission: Our organization exists to seek rapid and sustainable solutions to the different problems that affect the vulnerable.
