Aides aux Personnes Démunies (APED) is a non-profit, humanitarian, apolitical and non-denominational association working in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since 2009, it has worked to seek rapid and sustainable solutions to the various problems affecting vulnerable populations.

APED ensures the involvement of community members in this process, in order to take positive action against the risks that threaten the well-being of children and other vulnerable people.

It is also a development organization whose programs are oriented in the fields of protection and education; water, sanitation, and hygiene; health/nutrition; and food security/environment.

Mission: "Our organization exists to seek rapid and sustainable solutions to the various problems that affect the vulnerable."

Vision: We dream of a better future full of hope for the poor population and the integral development of their environment.
