Action for Peace and Development (APED) is a faith-based organisation whose mission is to empower people to build sustainable peace and holistic development in Uganda.

APED has successfully executed a capacity development project for young people in community reconciliation and mediation in two sub-counties within Soroti, leading to a reduction in violence and better conflict resolution mechanisms. APED also runs local economic and spiritual empowerment projects.
