Activities

Coming to the table

At CTTT, descendants of enslaved and slave owners engage in self constructive dialogue, to envision the US as a just and truthful society that seeks to heal the racial wounds from the continued racism. It provides relationship engagement, leadership, resources, and a supportive environment to dismantle racism that is rooted in the history of slavery in the USA.

STAR training

STAR is a four-and-a-half day of research and education into trauma awareness and resilience training. From its inception, it encompassed a multi-cultural perspective that has been well-received globally and locally.

Restorative Justice 101 training

Training for Practice in Everyday Life teaches the principles, philosophies and practices of restorative justice via lecture and experiential education methodologies for empowering individuals and communities for application in daily life. Restorative practices empower those who have been harmed, the community surrounding them, and positively impacts the behaviour of those who cause harm.

To date, the Minnesota Peacebuilding Leadership Institute has over 1200 graduates of peacebuilding programmes and has provided over $80,000 in scholarship assistance to ensure racial and economic diversity at their trainings.
