The Jammu & Kashmir Right To Information Movement is a people's movement working on the implementation of the right to information in the state. The movement consists of people belonging to all parts of society - doctors and lawyers, teachers and students, labourers, agriculturalists and all other citizens. The movement works with people in the remotest parts of Jammu & Kashmir. By educating local people in their rights to access information from the government, the movement empowers communities to use the right to information as a tool for peacebuilding in their areas.
