Oshan is a Transdisciplinary Peace Education and Development practitioner from Sri Lanka with years of experience in the peacebuilding, education and community development fields in the Asia-Pacific. His interests fall in the intersections of nonviolence, decolonization, restorative practice and Community-based Solutions. He is a strong believer in the alternatives for existing structures and practices and dedicates his research in the concepts of Alternative Development such as Buen Vivir and advocates for Holistic Educational Reforms that builds on sustainable social transformation through critical empowerment.
