HOPE is an alliance of 7 leading civil society organisations today in Syria: Kesh Malek, Bameh and Zeitouneh, Women Now, Emissa, Local Development and Small Projects support office, Ghosn Zaitoun and the Public Civil Defence Committee in Dera'a. This coalition is a pioneer group that seeks to avoid the negative impact of the recent Syrian crisis that is affecting Syrian society.

Aims

It seeks to coordinate among its members, build their capacities and enhance their presence at the local, national and international level.

Description of activities

HOPE attempts to achieve its aims through supporting the existence of a democratic, civil, pluralistic system based on the principles of social justice and freedom.
